Aim:
To increase the understanding of sexuality and how different expressions of sexuality affect people’s lives.
Objectives:
By the end of the course participants will:
- have considered the complex elements which make up our sexuality
- have considered different expressions of sexuality
- have explored some of the myths and stereotypes surrounding lesbians, gay men and bisexual people
- have identified values held by society and individuals regarding lesbians, gay men and bisexual people
- know the possible impact of these values on the treatment of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people
- feel more confident when working with lesbians, gay men and bisexual people

About the course:
The course will be informal and participatory in nature. It will involve exercises and group work in pairs and small groups as well as in the whole group. The course will draw upon the experiences of the participants within the group.
